THE ROLE
As an Experienced Multi-Skilled Panel Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality structural and cosmetic vehicle repairs while supporting other areas of the bodyshop when required. Your ability to undertake multiple repair disciplines will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer-approved standards.

Working closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Workshop Controllers, you'll help deliver exceptional workmanship while maintaining productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
·Carry out panel repairs, panel replacements, and structural repairs using manufacturer-approved repair methods
·Perform welding, panel alignment, jig work, and metal finishing to industry-leading standards
·Undertake minor MET duties, including the removal and refitting of body panels, trims, and associated components where required
·Complete minor filler work and preparation to assist with efficient vehicle progression through the repair process
·Accurately identify additional damage and communicate repair requirements to the Vehicle Damage Assessor or Workshop Controller
·Work collaboratively with Paint, MET, and Workshop teams to achieve agreed production targets and repair deadlines
·Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications, BS10125 standards, and Health & Safety regulations
·Maintain excellent housekeeping standards while caring for workshop equipment and tools

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and versatile Multi-Skilled Panel Technician who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and consistently achieving high-quality repairs.

·Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Panel Technician within an automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop
·Strong panel repair, panel replacement, and structural repair experience
·Competent carrying out welding, panel alignment, and metal finishing techniques
·Experience undertaking minor MET duties, including strip and refit of vehicle components
·Ideally IMI and/or ATA qualified (advantageous but not essential)
·Excellent attention to detail with a quality-first approach
·Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment while meeting productivity targets
·Positive team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
·Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering outstanding customer satisfaction
·Full UK Driving Licence required
