We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable bodyshop located in Exeter, Devon, for the position of Panel Beater. This role offers a significant opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking stability and career progression within a well-established company.

  • Full-time position with Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 hours

Duties of a Panel Beater:
  • Conduct panel beating and vehicle prep work to high standards
  • Assist with bodyshop repairs and prepare vehicles for painting or further work
  • Maintain a clean, organised workshop environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Occasionally undertake paintwork if required, utilising multi-skilled abilities
  • Support the overall efficiency of the workshop operations
Requirements of a Panel Beater:
  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Prepper
  • Multiskilled approach, including occasional painting skills if necessary 
  • Strong panel beating and vehicle preparation expertise
  • Good understanding of vehicle repair processes
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering quality
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
