Are you an experienced Accounts Administrator looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity within a well-established local business?
We're recruiting on behalf of a successful family-owned agricultural business based in Eastfield for a Part-Time Accounts Administrator to provide maternity cover from August 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team where you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function.
The RoleWorking closely with the finance team, you'll be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative duties, including:
- Producing weekly payroll for approximately 60 employees
- Processing purchase invoices
- Producing sales invoices
- Checking self-bill sales invoices against the company's bespoke haulage planning system
- Managing the ATF system for external customers
- Supporting the wider finance function with general accounts and administrative tasks
- Previous payroll experience
- Experience using Sage 50 and Sage Payroll
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- £14.00–£15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- 25–30 hours per week
- Flexible working hours (Monday attendance is essential, with flexibility across the remainder of the week)

- Three-week handover before the current postholder begins maternity leave
25–30 hours per week, typically around 9:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Monday is a required working day, with flexibility on the remaining days and hours.
This maternity cover position is due to start in August 2026, allowing a full handover before the current postholder leaves.
