Part Time Business Development Executive
£16 per hour + performance-related bonus
15 – 20 hours per week | Work from home | Flexible hours
Location: Perth, Dundee, Edinburgh, Fife and surrounding areas
Do you enjoy talking to people and creating new business opportunities
Have you got experience in telesales or business development, but would welcome something a little more flexible
Our client is a small, friendly and established recruitment technology business based near Kinross, looking for someone to help them introduce their services to businesses throughout the UK.
This could be an ideal opportunity for someone with previous sales experience who would enjoy working part-time, from home, while still making a real contribution to a growing business.
What Would You Be Doing:
- Identifying and contacting potential business customers.
- Making outbound calls and having friendly, professional conversations with decisionmakers.
- Generating interest and arranging appointments.
- Following up enquiries and developing relationships.
- Helping with occasional email and LinkedIn marketing activities.
- Keeping simple, accurate records of contacts and conversations.
What Are They Looking For
Ideally, you'll have previous experience in B2B telesales or business development and be comfortable making outbound calls to people you haven't spoken to before.
They are looking for someone who is personable, confident, organised and happy working independently.
Experience in recruitment would be a real advantage, but it's not essential.
They are not looking for a hard-sell approach. They would much rather find someone who enjoys talking to people, listens well and knows how to build relationships.
What They’re Offering:
- £16 per hour, plus a performance-related bonus.
- Approximately 15 – 20 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements.
- Working from home, with occasional face-to-face meetings near Kinross.
- A friendly, supportive working environment.
- The opportunity to make a genuine difference to a small, established business.
Although this is a home-based role, our client would prefer someone living within reasonable travelling distance of Kinross for occasional meetings.
A Little About Our Client’s Application Process
Our client’s business develops recruitment assessment software, and they use that same system when recruiting their own people.
As part of your application, you'll be invited to complete some online questionnaires looking at personality, behavioural style and suitability for the role.
It's not an exam, and there's no single right personality type. It also gives you the chance to experience the system you'd be helping them introduce to customers.
Interested
If you've got sales experience, enjoy building relationships and would welcome a flexible, part-time opportunity, our client would love to hear from you.
They are more interested in finding the right person than the most impressive CV.
