Part Time IT Relocation Project Manager - 6 month FTC

Very rare part-time opportunity for an IT Office Relocation Project Manager to work on a six-month fixed term contract.   

You will ideally be available at immediate notice or on a very short notice period and happy with working 17.5 hours per week.   The hours may increase as the project progresses and the office re-location takes place.   The role is predominantly based in central Brighton, with the occasional visit to offices in Crawley and central London (travel expenses will be covered).   

The days and hours can be flexible to suit your working needs, but also to be flexible with the business requirements.  Ideally to cover work most days of the week and there is an opportunity to work from home some of the days.

You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and oversee all the IT-related activities associated with the relocation of office operations.  Ensuring that there is minimal disruption to the business while this is taking place.  

You will provide project leadership across multiple technology, facilities and supplier work streams.  Ensure activities are planned and delivered to agreed time frames.  Work closely with all technical teams, facilities, external contractors and business stakeholders.   

  • Please note, we are looking for someone to commit to the six months piece of work as a minimum.
  • The salary on offer is per annum and will be pro rata according to the hours worked 

Experience/skills/attributes:

  • Proven solid experience managing office relocation programmes across technology, implementations or complex business change projects
  • Strong experience of project planning, coordination of internal teams, suppliers, contractors and third-party service providers
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to engage and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the business
  • Experience developing and managing project documentation including plans, RAID logs, status reporting and governance frameworks
  • Highly organised, forward thinking and a confident leader
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously – need to be a great at multi-tasking!
  • Experience of using structured project management methodologies and delivery frameworks
  • Any understanding of network infrastructure and workplace technology environments is highly desirable
