We are looking for a highly organised, reliable and customer-focused Logistics Support Administrator to join our busy Client on a part-time basis. This role would suit someone with a strong background in administration and customer service, with any exposure to warehouse, logistics, stock control or distribution environments being a real advantage.
If you enjoy keeping things moving, supporting busy sales or operations teams, dealing confidently with customers, drivers and colleagues, and making sure paperwork, systems and processes are accurate, this could be an ideal opportunity.
About the role
As Logistics Support Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the logistics team, helping to keep paperwork, reporting, stock information, invoices and delivery documentation accurate and up to date.
Key responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the logistics team.
- Retrieve and check proof of delivery documents.
- Check invoices and support accurate records for billing and administration purposes.
- Pick and pack samples when required.
- Compile reports and update spreadsheets, using Excel confidently and accurately.
- Carry out stock checks and help maintain accurate stock information.
- Check export confirmation status and follow up where needed.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, drivers, visitors and internal departments in a professional and helpful manner.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is completed in line with company procedures.
- Assist with wider office and logistics administration as required.
About you
We would love to hear from candidates who are experienced administrators with a strong customer service mindset. You may have worked in logistics administration, warehouse administration, stock control, sales administration, vehicle administration, fleet, distribution, customer support, workshop, depot or general office administration.
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, logistics support, warehouse administration, stock control or operations support.
- Good Excel skills are essential, with confidence compiling reports and updating spreadsheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with invoices, delivery paperwork, PODs, stock information and internal systems.
- A calm, professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Confidence liaising with customers, colleagues, drivers, suppliers and visitors.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience checking export information, compiling KPIs, or working in a warehouse/logistics environment would be advantageous.
