Complex Care Nurse

Location: Redhill
Salary: £40,000 per annum pro rata (£24,000 for 21 hours per week)
Hours: Part time – 21 hours per week

Working Pattern

  • Flexible Monday–Friday working
  • Three full days, or four half days and one full day
  • Occasional weekend work may be required to meet operational needs

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Registered Nurse (Adult, Paediatric or Dual Qualified) to join our team as a Complex Care Nurse.

This is an office and community-based role, providing clinical leadership and support across complex care services. You will oversee care delivery, support new client packages, assess staff competencies and ensure high standards of clinical governance and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Governance

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight of complex care delivery
  • Support the assessment and mobilisation of new care packages
  • Complete clinical risk assessments and care plans
  • Provide clinical advice and ensure evidence-based practice
  • Liaise with clients, families, commissioners, case managers and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and internal governance requirements
  • Support safeguarding procedures for adults and children

Training & Competency

  • Deliver clinical skills and medication training
  • Assess and maintain staff competencies
  • Review MAR charts and medication practice
  • Provide supervision, coaching and mentoring

Client Onboarding & Case Management

  • Lead the clinical onboarding of new clients
  • Complete assessments and ensure safe mobilisation of care packages
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN – Adult, Children’s or Dual Qualified
  • At least 2 years’ clinical nursing experience
  • Experience in training, coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to manage deadlines, analyse information and make sound decisions
  • Experience of leading or supporting service improvement and change
  • Experience of developing policies, guidelines or clinical resources
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable, although alternative travel arrangements can be considered
