Hours: Monday to Friday
Holt Recruitment are currently working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy depot in Barking.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in plant, construction or agricultural machinery parts who is confident dealing with customers, suppliers and engineers.
The Role:
- Handling parts enquiries and customer orders via phone, email and trade counter
- Ordering parts, attachments and equipment for workshop and field engineers
- Identifying parts using manufacturer systems and catalogues
- Maintaining stock levels and accurate parts administration
- Supporting sales and developing customer relationships
- Arranging parts deliveries to customers when required
- Working closely with workshop and service teams
- Forklift operation and general stores duties
- Minimum 2 years' Parts Advisor experience
- Ideally experienced within plant, agricultural, construction or automotive sectors
- Good knowledge of parts identification and ordering
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer literate with good administration skills
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Forklift licence desirable
- Reliable, organised and able to work in a busy environment
