We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Herefordshire, seeking an experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor.   • Working hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Duties of a Parts Advisor:
  • Dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries and sales
  • Accurately identifying parts requirements and ensuring correct parts are ordered, picked, and dispatched
  • Maintaining and controlling stock levels of vehicle parts
  • Conducting parts sales face-to-face, via email, and over the phone
  • Supplying parts efficiently to vehicle technicians within the workshop
  • Using electronic parts catalogue systems effectively for daily operations
  • Providing outstanding customer service and sales support in a high-paced environment 
  • Collaborating with team members to maintain smooth workshop operations
Requirements of a Parts Advisor: 
  • Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Parts Advisor within an automotive environment
  • Previous experience with commercial vehicle parts is advantageous but not essential
  • IT literate, with proficiency in electronic parts catalogue systems
  • Methodical, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong customer service and sales skills with a friendly, charismatic manner
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy dealership setting
