Our client, a well-established automotive business in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy distribution centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with a strong background in parts sales and customer service to progress their career within a reputable organisation.

Duties for this Parts Advisor position:
  • Achieve and surpass vehicle parts and accessories sales targets through consultative selling and telesales efforts
  • Engage with customers via telephone to promote parts, accessories, and related services
  • Educate customers on suitable parts to meet their needs both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers to support business growth
  • Identify and develop new customer opportunities via proactive telesales activities
  • Effectively manage customer accounts to ensure retention and maximise sales
  • Maintain accurate records for orders and stock, both electronically and on paper
  • Provide high-standard customer service aligned with company standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive team environment
Requirements for this Parts Advisor position:
  • Recent or current experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry
  • Experience in telesales or proactive customer communication highly desirable
  • Ideally worked within motor factors, franchise-approved dealerships, or similar environments
  • Strong communication and telephone skills
  • Good knowledge of electronic parts catalogue systems 
  • Proven experience in customer management and development
  • UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Organised and detail-oriented with good IT skills
