This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for parts sales and customer service within the commercial vehicle sector. The successful individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the prompt and accurate supply of vehicle parts, supporting the workshop, retail customers, and parts operations.

Duties of the Parts Advisor:
  • Identify and supply commercial vehicle parts to workshop and retail customers
  • Provide professional advice regarding parts and product requirements
  • Handle parts enquiries, quotations, orders, and invoicing efficiently
  • Source parts from manufacturers and approved suppliers to meet customer needs
  • Monitor and manage parts deliveries to ensure punctuality
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and support stock control processes
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Support workshop operations to minimise vehicle downtime
  • Identify upselling opportunities to increase parts sales and customer spend
  • Utilise dealership management systems to check part availability and vehicle details
  • Deliver exemplary customer service at all times
Requirements of the Parts Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, preferably within the commercial vehicle industry
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and motivation to excel in parts sales
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Confident user of dealership management software
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
  • Full UK driving licence
