Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival at the service department
  • Consult with customers regarding vehicle service needs and provide accurate recommendations
  • Efficiently schedule and manage service appointments
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
  • Provide customers with detailed and accurate cost estimates, obtaining approval prior to work
  • Promote additional services, accessories, and maintenance plans to maximise revenue
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and work completed
  • Ensure high standards of customer care and communication throughout the service process
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised dealership or automotive environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in automotive service software and computer literacy
  • Genuine passion for cars and delivering outstanding customer experiences
