Parts Advisor roles are vital for ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining high standards of stock management. Benefits for the successful Parts Advisor:
  • Competitive basic salary of £33,000 per annum
  • On-target earnings approximately £34,000 with overtime
  • Bonus scheme based on individual and team targets
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 7am to 5pm, with a one-hour daily break
  • Payment for one Saturday morning shift every two weeks

Duties of the Parts Advisor:
  • Assisting customers at the back counter with both commercial and car parts enquiries
  • Managing parts stock levels and processing orders efficiently
  • Providing excellent customer service and technical advice to trade and retail customers
  • Maintaining accurate records of parts sales and stock movements
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure parts availability and timely delivery
  • Assisting in stock control and returns processes to optimise department efficiency
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor in a commercial or automotive parts environment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of automotive or commercial vehicle parts
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
  • Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
