We are recruiting for the role of Vehicle Parts Advisor on behalf of our client, a well-established franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership located in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Duties of a Parts Advisor:
  • Handling trade and retail customer enquiries both face-to-face and via telephone/email.
  • Accurately identifying and processing parts orders for dispatch.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Managing parts stock control and assisting vehicle technicians with parts supply.
  • Working as part of a friendly team under the supervision of the Parts Manager.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of all parts transactions.
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained and replenished as required.
Requirements of a Parts Advisor:
  • Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Parts Advisor within a franchise-approved dealership.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and experience dealing with both trade and retail customers.
  • Experience working with commercial vehicle parts is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogue systems.
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with stock control systems.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Charismatic communication skills, with confidence in face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions.
  • Living within a reasonable commute of Bicester.
