Parts Advisor

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Holiday: 22 days plus bank holidays
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join an established employer within the automotive sector.
This is a varied role suited to someone with previous parts experience who is confident dealing with customers, supporting workshop colleagues and keeping on top of stock and orders.
You'll be joining a busy team where organisation, attention to detail and a positive approach are essential.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing parts orders and invoices
- Allocating and issuing parts for workshop jobs
- Maintaining accurate stock levels
- Supporting technicians with parts requirements
- Liaising with internal departments
- Handling telephone and face-to-face customer enquiries
- Trade and retail parts sales
- Delivering parts to customers when required
- Completing associated administration
- Using parts and stock management systems
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day duties
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous parts experience, ideally within the automotive sector
- Is confident dealing with customers and colleagues
- Is organised, methodical and reliable
- Has strong attention to detail
- Can manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer systems
- Has experience with ADP/Kerridge or similar systems - desirable
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
- £31,000-£35,000 salary, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays
