We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Manager to lead the parts department at a reputable dealership located in Redhill. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in parts or aftersales management within the motor trade to join a successful automotive group. Duties of the Parts Manager: 
  • Manage and oversee all daily operations of the Parts Department, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
  • Control stock levels, optimise stock utilisation, and oversee stock planning and administration as the Parts Manager
  • Drive sales of parts, accessories, and value-added products to maximise departmental profitability
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs and improving financial performance
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team through coaching, training, and performance management
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies
  • Build and nurture relationships with trade account customers; explore new business opportunities
  • Ensure accurate administration, including warranty processing, stock checks, and supplier relationships
Requirements of the Parts Manager:
  • Proven experience within a Parts or Aftersales role in the motor trade
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee a busy department
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Good commercial awareness and numerical literacy
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required
  • Knowledge of relevant vehicle and trade legislation is desirable
