Are you organised, commercially minded and experienced within purchase ledger, parts or automotive administration?
We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger / Parts Person to join an established and busy team. This is a varied role combining purchase ledger responsibilities with parts administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is confident dealing with suppliers, invoices and stock.
The Role of Parts Purchase Ledger:
As a Parts Purchase Ledger, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Liaising with suppliers regarding invoices, pricing and discrepancies
- Managing supplier accounts and resolving queries
- Ordering and sourcing vehicle parts from suppliers
- Checking parts deliveries against orders
- Maintaining accurate parts and stock records
- Raising purchase orders and ensuring costs are correctly allocated
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering parts as required
- Supporting the workshop with parts requirements
- Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and internal departments
- General administration and data entry as required
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within purchase ledger, accounts payable, parts or automotive administration
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Comfortable dealing with suppliers and resolving queries
- Able to work accurately under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Commercially aware and cost-conscious
- A good communicator with a professional approach
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
