An established and successful company is looking to launch a new Passive Fire division and is seeking an ambitious Passive Fire Contracts Director to take ownership of this exciting opportunity.
This is a senior position for someone with a strong commercial background and proven industry experience who can help establish the operation, build a team, develop client relationships and secure new contracts.
You will have significant autonomy and the backing of an established business, giving you the opportunity to shape the division and play a major role in its long-term success.
The Role:As Passive Fire Contracts Director, you will lead the commercial development of the new division, identifying opportunities and establishing the structure required to deliver sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a strategy for the new division.
- Identifying opportunities and securing new contracts.
- Building strong relationships with clients, main contractors and industry contacts.
- Leading tendering, pricing and commercial negotiations.
- Recruiting and developing a capable delivery and commercial team.
- Establishing effective processes, systems and procedures.
- Overseeing contractual performance, margins and profitability.
- Supporting mobilisation and successful delivery of newly secured projects.
- Working closely with the senior leadership team on wider business objectives.
- Developing repeat business and long-term client partnerships.
You should ideally have:
- A proven background in passive fire protection.
- Strong experience across contracts, commercial management or business development.
- A track record of winning and negotiating work.
- Established relationships with relevant clients, contractors or stakeholders.
- Experience recruiting, managing or developing teams.
- A sound understanding of industry standards, compliance and delivery requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- The commercial awareness to understand margins, risk and profitability.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build something from the ground up.
- £80,000 – £95,000 salary, depending on experience.
- Veichle or car allowance
