Pay Rate: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday , 40 hours a week (shifts between 8:00am - 8:00pm)
Overview
We are seeking a polished and professional Front of House and Patient Coordinator with private health care experience to join a busy private healthcare setting in Oxford Circus.
This role is heavily front of house focused, with a strong emphasis on delivering an exceptional patient experience, alongside supporting booking and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage incoming calls, direct enquiries, and support patient flow
- Handle general administration including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures
- Provide a high level of customer service with empathy and professionalism
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments via electronic medical records systems
- Verify patient details and ensure accurate data capture
- Support with patient queries via phone, email, and online systems
- Assist with documentation, records, and follow-up communications
- Work collaboratively across reception and admin functions as required
- Support self-pay patient enquiries and assist with appointment bookings
- Provide information on services, pricing, and next steps
- Follow up with patients post-consultation
- Track bookings and support reporting on activity and KPIs
- Assist with events and patient engagement initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within private healthcare is essential within a front of house, reception, patient coordination or administrative position
- Basic DBS required (must have have a valid certificate, be on the update service or be willing to get one immediately)
- Strong customer service skills across phone, email, and face-to-face
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident working in a fast-paced, front-facing environment
- Good IT skills including MS Office and patient record systems
