Payroll Transformation - Technical Coordination Lead (Contract)
Location: UK (Remote)
Contract: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
We are seeking a Technical Coordination Lead to support a large-scale Payroll Transformation project. This is a strategic, non-coding coordination role where you will act as the crucial link between the project team, external vendors, and internal IT operational support teams.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate the technical transition of payroll systems from start to finish.
- Map application and database dependencies to ensure a seamless migration.
- Guide data archiving and legacy system decommissioning activities.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, coordinating closely with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity teams.
- Manage third-party vendor expectations, keeping risks, commitments, and integration points visible.
What You Need:
- Strong background in IT application service management and technical delivery.
- Proven ability to coordinate complex cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- High technical literacy-you must be able to speak the same language as security and infrastructure architects (no coding required).
- Bonus: Experience with payroll migrations, data archiving, system decommissioning, or knowledge of EY Payroll / SAP Payroll 6.8.
