Looking for a PE teaching role in a supportive secondary school environment?
Smile Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Redditch seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
This role would suit an experienced teacher, ECT, or a teacher returning to the classroom looking for a positive and supportive working environment.
π« The Role
- Teach Physical Education across KS3βKS4
- Deliver engaging practical and theory-based PE lessons
- Promote student participation, fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
- Support student progress and assessment across a range of sports and activities
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Work collaboratively within the wider PE department and contribute to extracurricular activities where appropriate
- QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable approach
