Our success is powered by our people. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded People Business Partner to join our Ireland team on a fixed-term contract from November/December 2026 until February 2028.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the People Director for UK & Ireland, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders across the business, providing expert guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in delivering practical people solutions, managing complex employee relations matters, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, overseeing payroll processes, and using people data to inform decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Employee Relations

  • Partner with managers and leaders to deliver commercially focused people solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation.
  • Coach and support managers on performance management, attendance management and employee engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
  • Support organisational change, learning and development, and culture initiatives.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify trends to improve retention and employee experience.

Recruitment & Talent

  • Support recruitment activities across the business.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and recruitment plans.
  • Oversee onboarding and induction processes to ensure an exceptional employee experience.

Payroll, Systems & Reporting

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as an escalation point for payroll-related queries.
  • Lead HR reporting and analytics activities.
  • Prepare reports and insights for senior leadership and board-level discussions.

Employee Engagement & Wellbeing

  • Lead and coordinate wellbeing initiatives and programmes.
  • Support employee engagement activities and feedback initiatives.
  • Produce internal communications and people-related updates.

About You

You'll be an experienced HR professional with strong business partnering capability and a passion for creating positive employee experiences.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations practices.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Demonstrable payroll experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience producing HR metrics and reports.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Experience using Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Experience leading or coordinating administrative teams and workflows.
  • Experience within a fast-paced, multi-site or project-based environment.
