Performance and Data Officer
Location: Sandwell (Hybrid working available after probation)
Salary: £28,505.46
Hours: Full Time | Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Are you passionate about using data to make a real difference? We're looking for an organised and analytical Performance and Data Officer to join our Corporate Services team, helping to drive service improvement through meaningful insight and reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, creating reports and dashboards, and supporting teams to make informed decisions. You'll play a key role in analysing performance, identifying trends, and presenting information that demonstrates the impact of vital support services.
What you'll be doing

  • Collecting, analysing and interpreting performance data across multiple services.
  • Producing reports, dashboards and performance information for managers, commissioners and funders.
  • Building and maintaining reporting tools using Excel and Power BI.
  • Supporting the development and improvement of data collection systems and processes.
  • Creating meaningful reports that help improve services and demonstrate outcomes.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Assisting with funding bids, annual reports and service development through data analysis and research.

What we're looking for

  • Experience analysing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and data reporting.
  • Experience using databases and reporting systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to different audiences.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is desirable.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
