Break: 40 minutes
Salary: £30,952 + 15% shift allowance after 6:00pm (approx. £2,400 per year)
Role Purpose
To receive, pick, pack and dispatch stock accurately and safely.
Main Duties
- Receive and check deliveries.
- Check quantities, product codes and condition.
- Report damaged, missing or incorrect items.
- Process customer returns.
- Book stock onto the warehouse system.
- Put stock away in the correct locations.
- Pick customer orders accurately.
- Pack orders safely and correctly.
- Prepare orders for dispatch and collection.
- Use handheld scanners and warehouse equipment.
- Handle heavy and awkward items safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
- Follow Health & Safety and PPE requirements.
- Work with the wider warehouse team to resolve stock and order issues.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, Goods In, picking or dispatch experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable using scanners or warehouse systems.
- Able to work to targets and deadlines.
- Good team player with a reliable attitude.
- Able to safely handle warehouse products.
Desirable:
- Forklift licence and experience with construction or industrial products.
