This is a hands-on role involving picking and packing customer orders, using a computer system to confirm orders and printing the relevant paperwork and labels ready for dispatch.
The role would suit someone who is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment. Good attention to detail is important as you'll need to ensure orders are picked and prepared correctly.
Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:15am – 2:30pm
37.5 hours per week
Overtime paid at time and a half.
Key Responsibilities
Picking products accurately from warehouse locations
Packing orders ready for dispatch
Using a computer system to confirm orders
Printing order paperwork, labels and relevant documentation
Checking picked orders for accuracy
Preparing goods for delivery
Keeping the warehouse and work area clean and organised
Following all health and safety procedures
Supporting the wider warehouse team when required
Skills:
Previous picking and packing experience is advantageous but not essential
Basic computer skills
Good attention to detail
Reliable and hardworking
Able to work at a steady pace in a busy warehouse
Good team player
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
