Mellor Plant UK Ltd -  A forward-thinking family business specialising in new & used construction plant machinery, attachments and agricultural vehicles. We are also dealers for Yanmar Machinery, Rototilt Tiltrotators & JPM Trailers.

We pride ourselves on offering a professional, personal service and we are looking for a skilled Plant Engineer to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

• Carry out services, repairs and preventative maintenance to heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and other construction equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Working on new and used machinery and attachments
• Working independently while also supporting the wider team when needed
• Time will be divided between being workshop based and attending breakdowns to perform on-site repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

What we are looking for :

• A full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in plant, HGV, agricultural, or mechanical engineering
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Own tools

• 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) with excellent overtime availability
