Plumber with Gas in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plumber with gas to work with one of the UK's leading Housing providers in their hard-working and repairs Team.

Duration: 6 weeks

Pay - £26.33 P/H (umbrella or CIS)

Hours: 8:00am - 16:00pm Monday - Thursday. 8:00am - 14:00pm on Friday.

Job description:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Plumber to carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation work within occupied and void properties. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality workmanship, diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company policies and industry standards. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, effective communication skills, and a commitment to achieving first-time fixes and high customer satisfaction.

Essential Requirements:

• A full UK driving licence.
• City & Guilds Advanced Craft in Plumbing or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
• Demonstrable experience in plumbing, including the installation and maintenance of hot and cold‑water systems, sanitary ware, soil, waste and rainwater goods
• Regulations, Gentoo requirements and regulatory standards.
• A flexible approach to meet the demands of the role.
• Confidence using handheld IT systems.
• A logical approach to fault‑finding and problem‑solving.
• Ability to carry out multi‑skilled work where required.
• Knowledge and experience of unvented systems (desirable but not essential)
