Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a PMO Coordinator to support the PMO Lead Manager and wider project team in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Job Overview
This role plays an important part in supporting project governance, reporting, and administrative activities across a government contract. The successful candidate will help ensure that project processes, documentation, and reporting requirements are delivered accurately and consistently while maintaining compliance with agreed procedures and contractual obligations.
Working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders, the PMO Coordinator will support effective project delivery through the management of project information, reporting, meeting coordination, and process compliance. The role requires a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and escalate areas of risk where agreed ways of working are not being followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the PMO function and wider project team with day-to-day administration and coordination activities.
- Manage project information and reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor adherence to agreed processes and ways of working across project teams.
- Raise purchase orders using Coupa.
- Maintain and manage project documentation and records.
- Identify and highlight risks where policies or procedures are not being followed.
- Attend meetings, record key actions, and track progress through to completion.
- Support client reporting activities through data analysis and presentation preparation.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as an Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Ability to analyse data and support client reporting requirements.
- Experience using project management software and related systems.
- Experience with Monday .com and Coupa would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative and team-focused approach.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance/control processes.
- Experience or knowledge of Project Management would be beneficial.
- Ability to successfully pass BPSS and CTC clearance.
