Power Electronics Engineer

The Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing high-performance traction inverter hardware for automotive applications.
- Developing electronic schematics and multilayer PCB layouts.
- Designing power and control electronics, including sensing, protection, communication and power supply circuits.
- Performing circuit simulation and model development to support design validation.
- Supporting PCB bring-up, debugging and root cause investigations.
- Carrying out laboratory testing and validation using a range of electronic test equipment.
The Power Electronics Engineer will have:
- A BEng, MEng or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years' experience developing electronic hardware within an engineering environment.
- Experience designing schematics and PCB layouts using KiCad or similar ECAD software.
- Experience using LTspice or equivalent circuit simulation tools.
- Experience working with MATLAB/Simulink.
- Knowledge of power electronics, including MOSFETs, IGBTs and gate driver circuits.
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical experience debugging electronic hardware.
