Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to provide ongoing locum support within a busy primary care setting while the practice recruits permanently. There is also potential for the role to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The role offers flexibility, with sessions available across two practice sites and a requirement of 1-2 days per week.

Working Hours

• Between 08:00 – 18:00
• Flexible working arrangements may be considered

Responsibilities

• Chronic Disease Management (CDM)
• Travel vaccinations
• Childhood immunisations
• Cervical cytology (smears)
• Wound care and dressings
• General Practice Nurse duties
• Accurate clinical documentation using EMIS Web

Desired Skills

• Experience in asthma management would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong clinical knowledge within primary care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Current NMC registration
• Previous UK General Practice experience
