A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bexley/Bromley area is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team from September 2026 on a temp-to-perm basis. The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Supporting pupils across different year groups and abilities.
- Leading small-group and one-to-one intervention programmes.
- Working closely with teaching staff to raise attainment and pupil progress.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
- A HLTA qualification or substantial relevant experience.
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
- Confidence in leading whole-class learning.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting children.
