The Role
This is a full-time KS1 teaching position within a settled and engaged class. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively.
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school community.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Have high expectations for pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Be an enthusiastic, reflective, and dedicated team player.
