Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
- Assess, monitor and record pupils' progress, using assessment to inform future planning.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Promote high standards of behaviour and establish clear classroom expectations.
- Foster pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, share good practice and contribute to school improvement.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating regularly about pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips, events and enrichment activities where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports in line with school policies.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children, following statutory guidance and school procedures.
