A successful and community-focused primary school in Lambeth is seeking an inspiring Primary Teacher to join its Key Stage 1 team from September 2026.

This Primary Teacher opportunity offers the chance to teach a lively Year 2 class in a school that values creativity, high expectations and excellent pastoral care. Initially offered on a one-year fixed-term contract, there is a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent for the right Primary Teacher based on performance and staffing requirements.

The successful Primary Teacher will join a supportive year group team where planning is shared, staff wellbeing is prioritised and professional development is encouraged.

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire all learners
• Prepare pupils effectively for end of Key Stage 1 assessments while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum
• Use assessment to identify next steps and accelerate pupil progress
• Establish a positive classroom culture built on consistency and encouragement
• Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and develop outstanding practice
• Build strong relationships with families to support children's learning

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge
• Is committed to achieving high standards for every pupil
• Brings energy, creativity and a collaborative approach to teaching
