Salary: M1–UPS3 (£34,398–£52,490)
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Year 4/5 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026. This is a full-time role, offering an excellent opportunity to inspire and engage pupils within Key Stage 2 in a nurturing and forward-thinking environment.
The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering creative, well-structured and differentiated learning experiences that support pupils’ academic progress, personal development and confidence. You will play a key role in fostering a love of learning, strengthening core skills, and promoting positive learning behaviours.

- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Support pupils’ personal, social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents/carers.
- Contribute to wider school life, enrichment activities and school events.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment and engagement.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 or Year 5 desirable).
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective differentiation.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A creative, reflective and proactive approach to teaching.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
