£150 to £233 per day based on role and pay scale.

Connex Education is looking for nurturing and adaptable EYFS Supply Teachers to support friendly primary schools across Taunton from September 2026. EYFS Supply Teaching Role
In Taunton, supply teaching offers the chance to work across a mix of welcoming nursery and reception classrooms, supporting children with routines, confidence, communication, independence, and early learning while schools receive reliable, high-quality cover.

• Choose flexible day-to-day, regular part-time, or short-term EYFS supply work
• Deliver prepared nursery and reception activities that encourage play, curiosity, and early development
• Support positive routines, transitions, and communication throughout the school day
• Build confidence quickly with pupils, support staff, and school leaders
• Enjoy EYFS teaching without the full long-term planning demands of a permanent post

What We’re Looking For

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching within EYFS
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Framework
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A flexible and professional approach to teaching
