We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school community in Sandwell. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the early educational experiences of children at a crucial stage in their development.

About the Role

As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will create a nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering high-quality EYFS lessons and activities
Supporting children's early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
Observing, assessing, and tracking pupil progress effectively
Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support development
Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Contributing to wider school life and safeguarding practices
About You

We are looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience or a strong interest in Early Years education
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
Is creative, enthusiastic, and committed to child-centred learning
Works well as part of a supportive team
Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
