Teachers UK is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply, short-term assignments, or the consistency of a long-term placement, we have opportunities to suit your availability and help you build valuable classroom experience.

As an ECT Primary Teacher, you will teach across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and/or Key Stage 2 (KS2), delivering engaging lessons while developing your confidence, classroom practice, and teaching career in supportive school environments.

ECT Primary Teacher role requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting, including teaching placements
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons where required
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A positive, proactive and reflective approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Teachers UK

The successful ECT Primary Teacher will:

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils across different year groups and abilities
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs and senior leaders
