Year 2 Class Teacher

Full Time | Permanent | MPS 1-4 | Start Date: September 2026

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team from September 2026.

Our school is a Good Ofsted-rated, two-form entry primary school in the heart of Newhaven, where children are at the centre of everything we do. We are looking for someone who:

• Is a passionate and reflective classroom practitioner.
• Has high expectations for all children and a commitment to helping every pupil achieve their potential.
• Creates inspiring, inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Has a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum (experience in Year 2 is desirable but not essential).
• Hold QTS (ECTs welcome to apply!)
