About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced Daily Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools throughout Surrey on a day-to-day and short-term basis. We have strong, consistent demand across all year groups - from Nursery and Reception through to Year 6 - and we work hard to match you with schools that suit your experience, preferred phase and location.

As a supply teacher, you will step in at short notice and provide high-quality, calm and purposeful cover. Surrey schools value supply teachers who can follow existing plans with confidence, settle pupils quickly, maintain routines and manage behaviour effectively from the moment they walk through the door. Your professionalism and adaptability are what make the difference.

What we are looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching across primary year groups, EYFS through to KS2
• Adaptable, confident and calm in unfamiliar classroom environments
• Ability to follow existing plans and maintain consistent routines and behaviour expectations from the start of the day
• Strong communication skills when working with different staff teams and school cultures
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection knowledge
