We are currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Redbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing and is looking to make a genuine difference in the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils both academically and pastorally. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning across the curriculum.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supporting children who may require additional assistance with their learning or behaviour.
• Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation.
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupils to engage in learning.
• Supporting pupils' social and emotional development.
• Helping to maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about working with children.
• Patient, caring and approachable.
• Confident supporting pupils both individually and within a group.
• A strong communicator who works well as part of a team.
• Reliable, proactive and enthusiastic.
• Experienced working with children in a school, nursery or similar educational setting.
• Ideally holds relevant qualifications or previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, although strong candidates with transferable experience will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
