Principal Scientist – Bioanalysis

Location: Manchester, UK Salary: Up to £60,000 Contract: Full-time

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Principal Scientist to provide senior technical leadership within our bioanalytical services team. You’ll support client discussions, guide project scoping, and offer expert input across method development, validation, and complex scientific decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical authority in LC‑MS/MS bioanalysis.

  • Lead technical input for client meetings, feasibility assessments, and proposals.

  • Translate scientific requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions.

  • Oversee method development, validation (ICH M10), and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Strong scientific background with pharmaceutical industry experience.

  • Proven expertise in LC‑MS/MS bioanalysis within regulated environments.

  • Experience in pharmacokinetic analysis and ICH M10 validation.

  • Ability to communicate complex science clearly to varied audiences.
