Adecco are recruiting for a Process Shift Technician to join a specialist manufacturing business in Hull.

This is a hands-on role working across manufacturing and laboratory areas, ensuring products are produced, tested and approved to the correct specification.



Key Duties

  • Test process materials and finished products against specification.
  • Issue blending and packing instructions.
  • Identify and correct out-of-specification material.
  • Investigate non-conforming product and support root-cause actions.
  • Liaise with Production, Maintenance and Shift Supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate testing records and samples.
  • Ensure working areas remain safe and technically compliant.
  • Support equipment set-up and process improvements.


About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Practical and hands-on.
  • Confident working in manufacturing, production, process or laboratory environments.
  • Logical and comfortable solving problems.
  • Organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to follow technical instructions and maintain accurate records.
  • A good communicator who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working both day and night shifts.


Salary

  • £33,373 starting salary
  • £34,373 after approximately 2.5 months
  • £35,373.73 following successful completion of the 5-month competency/probation period


Shifts

12-hour day and night shifts currently operate:

  • Days: 6:30am - 6:30pm
  • Nights: 6:30pm - 6:30am

The shift pattern is under review, so flexibility across days and nights is essential.
