Procurement Administrator in Harrow, Greater London

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Procurement Administrator to join a well-established Multi-College Trust in West London on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to become permanent.

The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with approximately two days per week working remotely from home.

This is a great opportunity for someone with procurement or purchasing administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career within a public sector education organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the procurement team.

• Assist with tendering and procurement exercises, including maintaining documentation and records.

• Support the creation and maintenance of procurement templates and processes.

• Raise and manage purchase orders and assist with supplier administration.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and databases.

• Support compliance with procurement policies and the Procurement Act.

• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.

• Assist with reporting, spend analysis and procurement documentation.

• Help ensure procurement activities are delivered efficiently and on time.

About You

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or procurement administration.

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience within the public sector or education sector would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of procurement processes and the Procurement Act is desirable.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work at pace.
