Procurement Manager in Harrow, Greater London

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Procurement Manager to join a well established Multi College Trust based in West London on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with approximately two days per week working remotely from home.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong transformation and change experience who can operate at pace and deliver tangible results.

Key Requirements

• Public sector procurement experience – essential

• Strong, practical knowledge of the Procurement Act

• Proven experience managing tendering and end-to-end procurement

• Demonstrable procurement transformation/change experience

• Minimum 2–3 years' procurement experience

• Understanding of public sector spending models and governance

• Ability to work at pace and deliver tangible results

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to think outside the box

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• MCIPS/FCIPS or working towards qualification is desirable, but not essential

• Experience within education/FE/college environments would be advantageous

• Experience creating procurement templates, processes and documentation is a bonus
