This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to play a key role in driving manufacturing excellence through automation, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. - Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality and productivity
- Drive automation and continuous improvement projects across the production facility
- Reduce cycle times, improve yield and eliminate manufacturing waste using Lean principles
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring robust and efficient manufacturing processes
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve performance
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams to maximise equipment reliability and process capability
- Deliver engineering solutions that improve quality, reduce costs and support operational excellence
- Support capital investment projects, including new equipment and manufacturing technologies
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM and Kaizen initiatives across the site
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in a Production Engineering role within automotive or another high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience implementing automation solutions, robotics or vision systems
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business

Experience within an IATF 16949 or AS9100 manufacturing environment (desirable)

Knowledge of pressing, forming, welding, CNC machining or similar manufacturing processes (desirable)

Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, digital manufacturing or data-driven process improvement (desirable)
