The Production Engineer role will play a vital role linking the design, production, engineering & procurement teams and will play a key part in production processes and product development. In this role you will be building prototypes, using CAD to implement design improvements, leading engineering reviews, creating build & assembly instructions and training production teams in building the machines to ensure quality & consistency throughout.

The Role:

• Production Engineer - linking Engineering, Design, Production & Procurement teams
• Prototype building, development & improvements (CAD/SolidWorks)
• Product change management
• New product Build instructions & training of production team
• Procurement Quality Assurance

The Person:

• Experienced Production Engineer, ideally with a background in sheet metal /fabrication
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks)
• Experience creating technical documentation
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and supplier quality standards
• Positive, motivated & solutions focused Engineer, with excellent communication skills
• A passion for training, supporting, linking & developing teams & with a genuine desire to support the growth of an industry-leading brand
