Your Activities:
- Receive, inspect, and book in incoming materials and components.
- Pick and kit materials for production orders.
- Conduct stock movements and inventory transactions using the company's ERP system.
- Perform regular stock counts and cycle counting activities.
- Ensure correct storage and handling of production materials and parts.
- Prepare products for shipment, ensuring packaging meets customer and regulatory requirements.
- Process and coordinate outbound shipping consignments in accordance with customer requirements.
- Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Support with Production activities as required by the business need and forecasted production demand. E.g. Connector polishing, ultrasonic cleaning, fibre cleaving, splicing and loss measurements, set/adjust specialist Optical Fibre processing equipment, operating pressurised test equipment under supervision, and mechanical / electrical assembly
- Calibrating and maintaining equipment
Your Profile:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or logistics environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control or ERP systems.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
Desirable:
- Experience within aerospace, defence, medical device, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality requirements.
- Advanced experience and understanding of inventory management systems.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Vocational qualification in manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or a related field is desirable.
