They now have an opportunity for a Production Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing factory staff on day-to-day basis
- Organising Day to Day Deliveries and ensuring all loose materials (Closer / Packers / Architraves are sent out where required
- Maintaining Ironmongery Stock Taking / Inventory List
- Materials Purchasing
- Chasing Material BO’s
- Managing Goods in
- Checking Goods in Delivery Notes ensuring correct quantities received against orders placed
- Matching the Material PO raised with the signed delivery note
- Checking Delivery Notes Ensuring correct quantities received against orders placed
- Quality Control
- Organising / Booking Machine servicing
- Overseeing / Booking Engineers for machine breakdowns
- Ensure Daily cleanliness around all machines
- Ensuring Operatives carry out weekly checks:
- To maintain their machines which they are responsible for – i.e. general cleaning or machine, ordering replacement parts as and when required, Visual checks completed, ensuring emergency stop is working, greasing of all points, visual checks of all sensors, check hoses not split / blocked, visual check of belts no fraying, visual checks around machines for any obstructions, check oil levels and top up. Each operative to complete a maintenance check of the machine they are responsible for.
- Maintenance check sheets to be reviewed and any actions required to be taken then signed off by Production Manager
- Maintain Factory Fire Extinguishers annually
- Organising Annual PAT Testing
- Carry out Risk assessments Biannually and complete any non-conformities
- Maintaining and Updating Factory Training Matrix
- Organising Skip exchanges as and when required
- Monitoring and arranging Dust Box clearance as and when required
- Fork Truck Maintenance/ servicing / LOLAR recertification
- Fork Truck Gas monitoring and ordering
- Organising LEV Testing
- End of day shut down
- Ensuring joinery shop is producing as per delivery targets
- Responsible for upkeep of the delivery van, organising / booking in repairs MOT, Servicing.
Working hours 6am to 2.45pm
