Production Manager in East of England

I'm working with a well-established fresh produce business looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their leadership team.

They're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring strong production management experience from day one. You'll lead Coordinators, Machine Minders and Production Operatives, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

A key focus of the role will be driving performance within an area that has recently benefited from significant investment in new machinery, helping the business maximise output and achieve a strong return on investment. If you are someone who wants to make change and improve processes, this would be a fantastic next step for you.

• Leading day-to-day production operations
• Managing and developing production teams
• Driving productivity, efficiency and KPI performance
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and health & safety
• Working closely with engineering and other departments to keep production running smoothly
• Supporting continuous improvement across the site

• Experience as a Production Manager, Shift Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or area controller
• Background within food manufacturing or fresh produce
• Strong people management skills
• A hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
